4. Procedure:
you will hand in a 50 word summary of your project = 100 points
you will hand in a rough draft of your project = 250 points
you will hand in a final written project (having corrected your rough draft) = 400 points
5. For Law 34 you will show your step by step approach in doing
the legal research (i.e. show the steps to took in carrying out
your legal research).
You may use the same project for Law 17 (for those students who
are taking both Law 17 and Law 34), however in the Law 17 written
project, you will spend more time in the legal analysis of the
matter, and in the Law 34 written project more time will be spent
on how you obtained your legal results or solution to the problem,
with a shorter legal analysis of the results than in your Law
17 treatment of the same subject.
6. Evaluation:
Your grade on the written portion of the project (Law 34) and
for Law 17 will be based upon the grading rubric, or format we
covered in class located at http://lamission.org/outcomes
-
Your grade on the Law 34 step by step analysis will be graded
according to the legal research process and steps we have studied
in Law 34 - Legal Research.
good luck.
